Mayo forward Alan Dillon has announced his retirement from intercounty football 18 years after making his minor debut in 1999.
The Ballintubber clubman made 134 appearances for the Westerners where he won eight Connacht titles, including captaining the 2011 side to a two-point win over Roscommon.
Dillon received two All Star nominations over the course of his career while he also leaves intercounty football with minor and U21 Connacht medals.
